Initial Check In

The summer work travel program requires all participants to be in contact with their sponsor and to update any and all changes in US address and employment. You MUST complete an initial check in (only when you first arrive) and a bi-weekly update as well (1st and 15th of each month). You must also update your sponsor with issues you may be experiencing, employment concerns, and changes in flight details.

  • Name and SEVIS Information

    Please input the name exactly as it appears on form DS2019.

  • (# above the bar code on your form DS2019, beginning with N00…)
  • Confirm Travel Plans

    Note that any changes in travel plans must be reported to your sponsor and medical insurance extended where necessary. You are responsible for the cost of any required coverage extension at the current rate.
  • Confirm US Address and Contact Information

    You are required to update your sponsor with any and all address and contact information changes.

    Your sponsor requires a working/active email for communication through your program. If you do not have an active email, you must call and make other arrangements for updates with your sponsor. Please call 866-401-8910.

  • We must enter a US telephone number into SEVIS. Please provide the best US number to reach you.
  • Confirm Employment Details

    You are required to update your sponsor of any and all employment changes with your original and approved employer and you must request approval for any secondary employment that you may be interest in seeking.
